The Best & Worst French Fries

Yahoo.com Fresh Picks has just released their lineup of best & worst French fries. When we’re not dieting we love those yummy greasy stings of potatoes, we can’t get enough. But, we’re always dieting so we don’t ever get to indulge ourselves.

With Yahoo!’s list of the worst & best, you can see which came out on top with the least amount of calories, trans fat & saturated fat. They looked at seven popular fast food joints;

-Arby's Curly Fries

-Burger King's French Fries
-Carl's Jr.'s Natural-Cut Fries
-Dairy Queen's French Fries
-Jack in the Box's Natural Cut Fries
-McDonald's French Fries
-Wendy's French Fries

All in all, it looks like good ole’ Dairy Queen comes out ahead of the pack. I think we might just cheat on our diets today, we’re making a run to Dairy Queen.

Inaugurated in Style

Check out this amazing leather collage-inspired designer clutch. Love it! Designer, Lynda Zamora has created a one of a kind clutch purse with news headlines of President-Elect Obama's presidential win. No two are alike. We love it, love it, love it.

It's your very own piece of history, etched forever in a designer bag. Wow! Celebrate Obama's Presidential Inauguration by rocking one of these.

Girl Scout Cookies are Coming

Today January 9th is official Cookie Kick-off Day! Those adorable little girl scouts will begin to canvas your neighborhood selling those deliciously guilty pleasures, Girl Scout Cookies. Yum!

All the favorites are back, Somoas, Trefoils, Thin Mints, Tagalongs! I can never just buy one box, I buy at least 4. I'm such a sucker for those cute little faces. It all goes to a great cause and they have fun doing it.

The Girl Scout Cookie program is much more than a fundraiser. It's a way for girls to earn money to realize their dreams, and it's a hands-on leadership and financial literacy program that begins with imagination. At the beginning of the sale girls will ask themselves, “What can we do for fun and learning with our cookie proceeds?” and “What can we do with our Cookie Sale money to help others?”

Whatever goals the girls choose to pursue, they will also build their leadership skills and improve their financial literacy as they discover, connect, and take action to make the world a better place. This cookie season, girls will have world of fun…while making a world of difference.
